Hutt Valley Fire Police were tasked with a very important job on Saturday the 6th of December.

Two of our members had the honour of delivering Father Christmas in Rimatuka 4926 to the Cossie Club staff picnic which was held at Kaitoke Water Works Regional Park north of Upper Hutt City.

For the members of the Unit who 'helped' Father Christmas it proved to be a very hot day, but enjoyed watching the faces of the kids both young and old as their names were called.

Father Christmas also injoyed the drive around the park waving to all the other people who were out picnicing and enjoying a great Upper Hutt day.

The Hutt Valley Fire Police would like to thank the members of the Upper Hutt Cosmopolitan Club for giving the Unit this important task and look forward to next year.
