For the Unit's routine training on Monday 1 December, a traffic control exercise was put on in the vicinity of Rimutaka Prison. With members of the public looking on, members put their traffic control abilities to use, engaging in a one-way shunt on a blind corner.

Opportunity was taken to drill with the lighting equipment as well.

As we regularly practise - and yet vary - our traffic management routines, members are gaining an increasing degree of useful experience, which will be directly applicable to future callouts.
